Life is……

Vacation is relaxing, hot, beautiful, funny, interesting, fun, sweet….many many things that are all making me happy.  I am at the beach with my husband and boys, and my parents – who met us halfway to help out and enjoy their grandsons, who unfortunately they don’t get to see often enough.

Today the 3 oldest boys played golf and my mom and I went shopping with the baby.  While we were out looking in the windows of several adorable boutiques I stumbled across a shop with a line of t-shirts adorning the windows which were just awful.  A play on the “Life is Good” shirts but they were “Life is Crap”…..UGH!  I mean, who is wearing this stuff?  They have a website and I am sure people are buying, but why?  It isn’t even funny!

Vacation is stressful, too.  Especially in 100 degree weather with 2 boys – one who still needs a nap and the other who needs constant entertainment.  But I am sharing these  pictures with my readers to show two small moments I captured that in my opinion convey that life is so much more than good, it is sweet, and curious, and a great experience that I am enjoying.  Crap?  Not even a word I use, especially to describe life.

I was in another shop where I happened to meet the owner.  I was wearing my Grace and Giving Shirt and she noticed and loved it.  I told her all about Chickatees, and she wants to carry the shirts.  Not sure if we will make that happen or not, but she said if nothing else she wants to give them to all of her employees for Christmas gifts – she wants to spread the positive messages, which just made me feel good inside.

Life is……Tell me your thoughts…. I want to hear them.

My Photographer

I have received a lot of compliments on the professionalism of the photographs on the website.   They were taken by professional photographer, Jen Wunderlich, and she happens to be one of my very best friends.

My family is headed to the beach for vacation next week, and it is the first time by youngest, who will be 2 years old in November will see the beach.  Last time we were there I was pregnant with him.  We had some great pictures taken but of course he wasn’t really included in them.  I am hoping we can find someone to take some that are equally as good of the four of us.  I wish I could afford to bring my friend, Jen, with me because I know she would get exactly what I need.

She is also a stay at home mom with two kids, so her calendar is quite full.  If you live in the Altanta area, and are lucky enough to book her, I promise you that you will not be disappointed.  She is wonderful and patient with children and is very reasonable.

I will share by beach pictures upon on return, let’s hope they turn out good!
